The Fingal Hotel provides a good central base to access the many attractions of North East Tasmania, situated mid-way on the South Esk Highway in the heart of the lovely Fingal Valley, with "Ben Lomond" National Park to the north and "Douglas Apsley" National Park to the south.
Local attractions include Trailbike Riding (local guides available) and Four Wheel Driving on the many forest roads, Malahide 9 hole Golf Course, Fly Fishing in the Esk River, Evercreech Forest Reserve (World's tallest White Gums - over 90m), Mathinna Falls, Bushwalking, Fossicking, Griffin Camping Area, Skiing in Winter and Bushwalks in Summer in the Ben Lomond National Park.
Drive approximately 40 minutes to the East Coast to enjoy fishing, surfing and swimming at the many ocean beaches.
